Privacy policy

Who we are

Holdfast Pulse is a survey tool operated by Holdfast Intelligence (Paris, France). Contact: jderaucourt@holdfastintelligence.com.

Account holders

To create surveys we store your name, email, a hashed password, your role and your plan. We use them only to run your account and to answer your requests. We don’t sell or share them.

Respondents

People who answer a survey are anonymous: we don’t ask for names or emails and we don’t store IP addresses with the answers. A small cookie on the respondent’s device only remembers that the survey was already answered (30 days).

Retention

Responses are deleted automatically after 7 days (Free), 30 days (Student), 60 days (Pro) or 90 days (Business). The deletion date is set when each answer arrives: upgrading extends it, and it is never shortened, even if a paid plan ends. Deleting a survey deletes all its responses immediately. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your responsibility as a survey creator

Please don’t ask for sensitive data (health, religion, political opinions, ID numbers…) or personal details that identify respondents, and tell respondents what the survey is for. For surveys with minors, follow your school’s rules.

AI summaries (optional)

If a survey owner on a Pro or Business plan clicks “Generate AI summary”, the aggregated results and the anonymous written comments of that survey are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the summary. No names, emails or IP addresses are sent. Nothing is sent unless the button is used.

Holdfast AI assistant

When you write to Holdfast AI, your messages and, if you choose to attach one, the aggregated results and anonymous comments of your survey are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the answer. Conversations are stored in your account so you can return to them, and you can delete them at any time. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Avoid writing personal data about third parties in the chat.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in, remember your language, prevent duplicate answers and, if you arrived through a sales partner’s link, remember that partner’s code for 90 days. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data by writing to jderaucourt@holdfastintelligence.com. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
